Mical Dyck : May 2014
http://micaldyck.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Bikes, stories and life. Monday, 19 May 2014. Is it really the middle of May already! Hey Regan, want to race this weekend? 8230;…What I didn't tell him was that it was a 6 hour race :). First 6 Hours of Maple in Duncan was probably one of the harder races I've done in a long time, steep fire road climb followed by fast, technical, rough and steep descending. You know it's a great trail when the downhill section takes twice as long as the uphill section! Regan with Laila on course. Posted by Mical Dyck.

City, State, Zip. Dreaming of the old way. Your Custom Text Here. June 27, 2016. Spring hits and the time disappears. Everything goes into the ground, and grows from there. It seems it grows faster than we can keep up with. But still we push on through the solstice and towards the fall. We were lucky to stop and enjoy midsummer by making and eating pizza fresh from the fire of a cob oven at our friends Solara and Tayler's. They have a permaculture design/ implementation business called Hatchet and Seed.

Mical Dyck : European Cyclocross Adventure
http://micaldyck.blogspot.com/2015/02/european-cyclocross-adventure.html
Bikes, stories and life. Monday, 2 February 2015. You ever regret a trip before you have even gotten on the plane? I was regretting the decision to go to Europe for CX Worlds the whole month leading up to the project with dealing with the CCA….but that’s a separate story. Once we got on the plane in Victoria, there was nothing else to do or worry about. Take a sleeping pill that never works and watch 3 movies as you cross the pond. What’s a European rut you ask? After a 100m fast start straight there was...

Mical Dyck : My month and a half in review
http://micaldyck.blogspot.com/2014/08/my-month-and-half-in-review.html
Bikes, stories and life. Monday, 11 August 2014. My month and a half in review. Ok, July was jammed packed with a wide variety of different events. Not all racing either. Finished off June with 3 days of amazing racing at the Fernie 3. It was a hard fought battle against some fast women on some of the most amazing and fun trails, but I managed to finish 2. To World Cup racer Sandra Walters. Scalpel was a great workhorse, turning her super lightweight racing machine into a bikepacking machine with Apidura.

Mical Dyck : May 2013
http://micaldyck.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Bikes, stories and life. Monday, 27 May 2013. Into the Red Bull downtime I had 15 seconds on Brandi and was excited, I rocked the downtime last year. But this year, I road it like a donkey, not very well at all! Out on the rail way, hammer back to the road and a good 2 km in the headwind to the finish. I was in no mans land, running scared of Brandi charging behind me. Took my first Nimby 50 win by only a minute twenty. Thanks for the awesome race Brandi! Huge thank you to all of my amazing sponsors!
