Nova Scotia Notes: June 2010
http://novascotianotes.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Best of Nova Scotia. Thursday, June 24, 2010. Nova Scotia has many, many small provincial parks. They are uniformly neat, well-maintained, beautiful and never crowded. Here is one of the tiniest, on the Northumberland Shore east of Antigonish. I've added the weblink for this park. From there, you can browse all the parks Nova Scotia. These kids would have to walk out a hundred meters to get in water over their heads. Jack and Lee Leonard. Saturday, June 19, 2010. St Pierre, Cape Breton. Cape Breton i...
Nova Scotia Notes: May 2010

The Best of Nova Scotia. Monday, May 31, 2010. Lee and I went with some friends to a benefit concert with Bette and Wallet at the St. George Catholic Church on Cape George (north of Antigonish). Cape George is the "little Cape Breton" of the mainland - high mountains, dizzying coastal roads, and huge ocean expanses - and worth the trip all by itself. MaryBeth (center) and Gabriel (left) did French, Acadian, Gaelic, Irish and Scottish songs - and sometimes blended them with rock music! Jack and Lee Leonard.
Nova Scotia Notes: September 2010
http://novascotianotes.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Best of Nova Scotia. Friday, September 3, 2010. We keep raving about the Provincial Parks. This one lies on Route 245 north of Antigonish, about one hour from our cabin. The park sits on top of a cliff with picnic and camping sites. There are several hiking trails that lead through the woods down to the beach. You really can't get lost here; the park is just not that big. At one point, you're in the cool woods with glimpses of the water beyond and then you're out in the sun right on the beach. Guysbo...
Nova Scotia Notes: Rare Bird Pub
http://novascotianotes.blogspot.com/2010/09/rare-bird-pub.html
The Best of Nova Scotia. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Guysborough County in Nova Scotia is the home to a lot of Germans, including seasonal visitors as well as permanent residents. There are three German families on the point where our cabin is located. One of them (our next door neighbor) invested heavily in the town of Guysborough, which lies on the other side of the harbor from us. Jack and Lee Leonard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dragonflame's Master Mar Lodge
Maanantai 4. elokuuta 2014. Me oltiin Lukan kanssa siis ainoat nuorissa. Tuomarina toimi Satu Ylä-Mononen, joka oli asiallinen ja mukava tuomari. Kookas uros, jolla hyvät mittas...

Nova Scotian on the Prairies
Nova Scotian on the Prairies. Thursday, September 25, 2014. Losing our second child. A beautiful pocket made to hold our ultrasound pictures, made by Denise Green, with Saskatchewan Angel Dresses, and given to me by my sweet friend, Samantha. Only an hour later, just as we were leaving Moose Jaw, the process of "passing" the baby began. I had no idea it was going to be so painful. It was a very difficult evening, but I still remained in peace, and slept soundly. It was a miracle. In my mother’s womb.
