Sunday, April 29, 2012. Zion National Park.and some relaxation. Took a trip to Zion National Park and Red Mountain Resort.just a short 2 hour trip to St. George, Utah. Saturday, May 18, 2013. Went on a gold mine tour today. I've lived here for over 30 years and never heard of this place. (Why not? It's Eldorado Canyon and the gold mines of the wild, wild west! Eldorado Canyon has the oldest, richest, and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. Just 45 mins south of Las Vegas and close to the small town of Nelson and the Colorado River. Eldorado Canyon has a wider range of historical events than anywhere in the Wild West:. One old mining cart. Underground in the mine.

Sunday, March 3, 2013. Ran a 5K race today. Me at finish line. Winning 1st place in 5K age 50-54 female. And came in 1st place for female in my age division! Two of my co-workers also ran and won.1st place trophy for overall female (5K and 10K) and 1st place in 10K for age 30-34 female. Woohoo! They arrived at 8:30am Thanksgiving morning, with me meeting them at the car and getting Bo out of his car seat and hardly letting go of him until they left Saturday morning at 11:30! I decided I wanted to get another Espresso/Cappuccino Maker but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one - Riyoko spoiled me in LA, making me a Cappuccino every morning and I then realized how much I had missed mine! Thank goodness I had walked across the kitchen because glass flew all over and the coffee was steaming. I had a pot of soup on but it did have a lid on it!
