Digital travel and life for non-digital natives. Staying connected on the road when too much wifi is scarcely enough. There’s an old travel adage which suggests that the less one pays for a meal while on the road, the better it is likely to be; that a meal bought and eaten for a dollar or two at a roadside stall is likely to have more flavour than one costing many times as much at a starred restaurant or hotel. Digital travel and life for non-digital natives. Photo backup options for travellers. One of my primary activities while travelling is photography. I’m no Ansell Adams, but have had a strong interest and enjoyment of photography since I was quite young. I have an old-school 35mm SLR the Canon A1. Purchased in Hong Kong in 1984. Digital travel and life for non-digital natives. Managing life on the road. Cassette tapes are making a comeback. I amassed a collection of mix tapes, as did most people of my era. I made compilations of favourite artists for my own use, and, occasionally, curated selections of special music offered as a gift to special friends were a token of …. high esteeem, throughout the 1990s and even into the early 2000s.
