Woods' World: April 2010
http://cfcwoods.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 8, 2010. In the last month, Eli has had a few firsts! He began going to class at church. He is sitting next to his friend, Maci on his first day in class. He loves sitting in the chairs and chewing on every single toy! He is eating Stage 1 Foods and loves them all so far! As soon as I get the spoon out of his mouth (and sometimes before) he has his thumb in. The "extra" runs down his hand and arm before I can swipe his mouth. It is so messy and it drives Camille crazy! He is a jumper!

An eye-witness account of our amazing family adventures. I surely haven't broken out the book for any of my previous cell phones, but I have humbly consulted the all knowing pages for this one several times! Yes friends, picture me walking into the living room to find my two sweet children jiving to the digitized disco sounds of "Hello, MOTO"! Owen (with culprit phone in hand) continues dancing and starts "singing" along! Posted by Meg Knight. Crash, Boom, Bang! Boys will be boys! Posted by Meg Knight.

a-n-n-a-l-e-e: DERBY (BIRTH)DAY...
http://annaleeper.blogspot.com/2015/05/derby-birthday.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The KENTUCKY DERBY is called the most exciting two minutes in sports. It is held every year on the first Saturday in May, which is conveniently right by EVAN'S BIRTHDAY. Inconveniently, it happens a few states away from us,. But that doesn't stop us from pretending we are at Churchill Downs in our own home. Before I met Evan I knew that it was a horse race, and if we were already at home we might watch it. He knows the names of thoroughbreds and jockeys and past race stats.

Wednesday, May 6, 2015. When we moved here six years ago, we arrived with a houston zoo membership in my wallet. the last kindergarten class i taught in austin gave it to us as the most thoughtful going away/end-of-year gift. what a special place they introduced us to in our early houston days. grandparents have gifted us this for christmas and birthdays over the years since, and it truly is the gift that keeps giving. For birthday parties and holidays, during the day, and at night. We've had our share o...

Fire Up, Buttercup.: May 2009
http://fireupbuttercup.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Fire Up, Buttercup. Joy Brought Me Here. Wednesday, May 20. Cowgirl Rosa Jane loves horses and they scare me. Lots of things in life scare me, so I guess this is just one more thing in the great scheme of things that Elenor Roosevelt said, "You must do the thing you think you can not do." And sometimes that just means simply putting one foot in front of the other and doing the next thing! Friday, May 8. Natural Light Headshots Save the Day! Thursday, May 7. Photo by Lisa Woods.
