The continuing adventures of Kurt and Linda Fernández. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Fort Worth, Texas. Jeff, Kate, Lauren and Joey. We pulled up roots in Buenos Aires. And arrived to our apartment in Fort Worth August 16. The 107-degree heat was a welcome change from the wet cold of the porteño winter that seemed to be dragging on forever this year. The continuing adventures of Kurt and Linda Fernández. Sunday, September 2, 2012. Sweden July 26 - Aug 05 2012. First we went into the Swedish wood. Was full of things growing: mushrooms, berries, produce from the vegetable plots, flowers, ferns, pine trees, snakes, mosquitos. Lots of them, making what turned out to be lots of honey. More than 80 kilos from 3 hives over the season. The "novice" beekeeper should not be ashamed of herself, as they say in Sweden. From Ekeby onto Swedish waters.

We met Mauricio, an Argentine from Lanus, in the provincia of Buenos Aires just south of the capital city. It turns out that Mauricio lives eight stories above us, on the 19th floor. The catalyst for our meeting was the shirt Kurt was wearing, a going-away gift from our friends Lola and Tati. In Buenos Aires. Mauricio is a fan of Racing.
