Not nerdy, But somewhere in between. Sunday, January 16, 2011. I made the Drop Stitch Scarf a few months back, and it was great! I was trying to figure out what my next design would be, and I saw the scarf I made! So, the wavy crochet scarf was born! This scarf is worked horizontally and looks best when you change color every round. My scarf is still being made, the first two pattern rows are crocheted between the sts, the most recent row is crocheted in the first loop of the st. Sc = single crochet.

Not nerdy, But somewhere in between. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Everyone loves ruffles (well, maybe not.) but here are some cute ruffly mitts I made, and Here's how to make 'em! Sl = slip stich. Sc = single crochet. Ch 30 and sl in the first st. Sc all in all sts for 5 rnds. Next Round: sc 1 st, ch 6, skip 6 sts, sc in next st. Sc all sts for 10 more rnds. Ruffle rnd: 3 sc in all sts. Next rnd 1 sc in all sts, end off weave in ends. Enjoy! Friday, April 22, 2011. New design: a little twist. Yo = yarn over.

NOTE: you want to be a little care joining each round* *. About 150 - 200 yards of bulky or worsted weight yarn. (I used homespun). Size N hook (for worsted weight use size K). Ps = puff stitch.
