I took the recipe from two different sites and tweaked them to suit my needs I will include the links to the other 2 sites at the end. For the bacon caramel:. 4 slices bacon (original called for 2 slices, I was like oh hell no). 6 T unsalted butter. Original recipe called for salted butter, but there was enough salt from the bacon). 1 1/2 cups sugar.
