The N-Scale N.A.R. My efforts to model the Peace River subdivision of the Northern Alberta Railways in N scale. Saturday, 31 December 2011. There is very little historical information on the trestle built to span Pat's Creek, but just about everyone who has been to Peace River has travelled right through it. It is, of course, the trestle that you drive under when leaving Highway #2 and coming into the towns main entrance, near the Travellers Motor Inn and the NAR Station. And,. Google Earth is great!

The N-Scale N.A.R. My efforts to model the Peace River subdivision of the Northern Alberta Railways in N scale. Saturday, 31 December 2011. Peace River Rail Bridge. The Peace River Rail bridge, along with the iconic auto bridge, will be the centre piece of the whole layout. A faithful reproduction of the two unique bridges will enable the viewer of the layout to immediately recognise that this is Peace River, Alberta. View from the air, looking north. Post Card from the 1920's, looking east. Although the...

BC Rail – Fort Nelson Subdivision in N Scale. Modelling BC Rail's remote north end in N Scale. July 21, 2015. Yes Clearly nothing has happened on the layout in a while, but i have a valid excuse. It was a still a tough choice because I knew it would involve complete dismantling of the layout and being a lot further away from the model rail communities in Calgary and Vancouver. I’m sure I will be tempted by New Zealand’s 42 inch narrow gauge operations at some point too. Modelling it invol...Matt Watson&#...

BC Rail – Fort Nelson Subdivision in N Scale. Modelling BC Rail's remote north end in N Scale. August 4, 2014. N Scale Project

Follow along on my quest to build a N Scale Layout. Monday, August 12, 2013. CO-OP Storage Shed - Part 4. With the recent addition of some more paint, I went ahead and added the final touches to the door hardware on the storage shed. Using Flat Aluminium paint, I dripped the end of a fine brush into the cap for the jar, gathering up just a little paint. I then dragged it over the door railing and door hangers/clips, giving it just a touch of metal appearance. Monday, August 5, 2013. Another Month gone by...
