Friday, October 23, 2009. Today we had a visit from local artist Joseph Betty (Gumbo) and his family. It was fantastic. He and his wife are both artists and they showed us their work and told us what influences them when they paint. They told us to paint what we feel and to keep working hard. Gumbo is a Cubist. And loves the work of Pablo Picasso. They were very impressed by our paintings too! Thank you so much to the Betty family for sharing your art with us and for inspiring us to keep painting. Tutpup...

This is where they will be going for year seven in September until the Clifton Hunter Campus is ready. Here are a few short reflections of their day:. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Year 6 had a marvellous opportunity yesterday - they were sponsored by local company KPMG to spend a day with the coaches at the Cayman Islands Sailing Club learning how to sail. This was a new experience for them - and they had a great time! We are hoping that we can make this a regular feature of our school activities. Friday, October 24, 2008. A book review of "The Night of The Ticklers" by Paul Shipton. The Night of The Ticklers is about chubby bodied aliens with ten fingers on each hand invading Earth. Katy and Mike took a shortcut from school and ended up finding a lot of these aliens. These aliens were called "Ticklers" and they were spreading all over the villages!
