Welcome to my stitchy life! WIPocalypse – March edition. Well, February has gone by in no time, but somehow I got a bunch of stitches in. I am very happy with my progress and hope to continue with this speed😉 And besides stitching a lot I still manage to read one book after the other. Saturday, June 13, 2015. My first TW project has finished. I made it 1 over 1 on 28 count with 2 threads i will not do this again because the many.many backstitches are a pain to do on 28 count 1 over 1. The good thing is that the end result looks fab :). Size is 3.5 bij 5 inch. I started this half March 2015. Total time of stitching is 122 hours. On to the next TW project, only didnt decide yet wich one. ANG Flower City Needlers. A virtual journey of the stitching accomplishments of the Flower City Needlers Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild. Saturday, April 28, 2012. 2012 Tri-City Chapter Retreat. About 36 members from three NY ANG chapters ( Buffalo - Rochester - Syracuse). Got together to stitch, show some needlework and have lunch. The Syracuse chapter had a painted canvas challenge. Participants each received the same canvas of a Peacock with a long tail, and instructions to be creative.
