What I found out about the situation blew my mind. Until he is almost 40 years old. The Jena District Attorney, Reed Walters, went to the school to speak at an assembly, and chastised the black students who had complained about the hanging nooses, calling the incident "an innocent prank". Is it 1850 or is it 2007?
