Welcome to the LUGs mailing list resource site. There are hundreds of mailing lists out there available today, but few are dedicated simply to the support and fellowship amongst Linux Users Groups. Lists such as these aren't there for technical support such as "How can I get my DSL router to work with Linux? Instead, these types of lists are there for support such as "What do I need to do to put together an Installfest for my new LUG". General LUG and LUG event discussion and support. Of Geeks and Men. Hell Hath No Fury Like a Fanboy Bored. Hell has indeed frozen over. This is a blog post. Something this site hasn't seen in about two years. About 9,283,702,937,423 things have changed in my life since my last time on this page, so there should be moderately-regular updates going on. Expect a few layout changes, pretty much all of the links on here will be updated, and I'll keep you all posted on the new goings-on in my life. But, my blog, my rules, so I'll delete as I see fit.

So, I basically dismissed it from the list of distributions I test. After all, we have seen new distributions of Linux crop up and die rather quickly. The only reason for bringing up...

Of Geeks and Men. Hell Hath No Fury Like a Fanboy Bored. If I were a higher-up at Cryptic Studios. Assuming some weird fate happened and Cryptic Studios/Perfect World called me and said, "Sanford, we want you to head up a new Star Trek Online II. Project", here's what I would suggest. Item 1: Make The Game Federation-Only. Characters should be Federation. None of the "alt" factions should have any interaction with each other - strictly for story purposes. Lord of the Rings Online. One HUGE complaint from...
