The aweh youth groups are groups of young people, who mostly stay in little fisher villages along the south coast and west coast of the western cape and are attending a programme of the NGO people to people, run by Coleridge Daniels who has worked with youth at risk. The programme the Aweh (slang for Aware ) youth groups go through consists of community work in their villages, self and group development sessions as well as a training for the young people in business, computer and environmental skills.
