Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Ashlyn - 12 Months. When I met Ashlyn's parents and Grandma at Freedom Park for her 1-year photo shoot last month, I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. Not only is Ashlyn. But her super-cute parents brought. With them to our shoot; a pink adirondack chair, bubbles, silk flowers, a birthday girl crown, and even a cake for Ashlyn to play in! Thursday, August 13, 2009. Oh my goodness gracious! The boys and I are positively. From a week of fun (and it's only Thursday morning)! If you follow me on Twitter (@allisonfowler), you know that on Monday we spent most of the day at the JCC pool. On Tuesday we went to the Carolinas Raptor Center. And Historic Latta Plantation. And yesterday we went to Carowinds. Today, the boys and I are going to Ray's Splash Planet. Ummmwhy didn't MY elementary school have a waterpark on campus? What a great idea!

Friday, February 27, 2009. About a month ago, I began following a blog about a 10-month old little girl named Cora who had been diagnosed with cancer. Three weeks after her diagnosis, Cora went to be with Jesus. I don't know Cora's parents. But through their blog I have learned that they have incredible faith in God and have trusted (and continue to trust) Him through their journey. Even in Cora's death, they praise Him. Now THAT'S the kind of faith I want to have. What a perfect place to buy baby gifts!
