Hoof 'n It: February 2013
http://hoof-n-it.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 16, 2013. Crap I'm turning into one of those freaky people who use oils to cure things. I'm kinda pissed that it worked because I really don't want to be one of those creepy natural oil people. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. We arrived on Oahu about a month ago, with no place to live, no jobs, and our car was not coming for weeks. It has been an adventure figuring everything out…. But we are off to a good start! We live about 10 more houses down. Jon's study desk, and our bed. Full kitc...

From Man on Man to Zone: Libby's Baptism
http://libbynorton.blogspot.com/2015/08/libbys-baptism.html
From Man on Man to Zone. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Program design by Jeff Barlow, so thankful he shared his talents with us! How do I blog about the sacred? If I could tell Libby about the things that I remember about her baptism, I would tell her this:. A lot of people came a long way to show their love and support of your decision! Your ward family also came out in force! We had to add extra chairs to the overflow room we were using. You were beaming with excitement the whole day! All the Randalls that c...

Friday, March 28, 2014. 32 Weeks: I finally look pregnant! I finally look pregnant! I may or may not have gained more than this. A conversation I have had more than once:. Local approaches me at the bank to make a deposit. Me: Hey there, how is your Friday going? Local: Good waves out der. Hey, you looking good sista. Like your face is fatter or something. Me: Uh thanks, I’ll take that as a compliment! Jon calls them my Barbie nails. So nice to be married to a handyman! Do you have stretch marks? Not yet...

Hoof 'n It: May 2013
http://hoof-n-it.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 9, 2013. About a month ago I was kicked out of my own facebook. I know it had something to do with signing up for a shady website to play Settlers of Catan against Jon while sitting in bed on our laptops. Turns out it was not smart to use the same password that I do for EVERYTHING. The next day I was locked out of my e-mail, facebook and pinterest. GASP. I am thrilled that I’m back! More pics and a birthday blog to come! Carly and Jon at Pearl Harbor. Cutest little sailor! A little about us.

yellow flats, green high tops: January 2013
http://sweetutah.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Yellow flats, green high tops. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Disney with the Randalls. Posted by Sweet Utah. When we finally hit 6 miles, I found myself empowered. If I could run 6 miles, I knew I could make it to 10 miles. Second, I felt amazing because I did something I'd never been able to do before. I came to really look forward to our long runs. Even though there were moments during the run that were hard, the finish always made it worth it. At the resort getting ready to head out with Walter. Brad had ...

Lady Holiday: It's a New Year, It's a New Day
http://ladyholiday.blogspot.com/2013/12/its-new-year-its-new-day.html
Sunday, December 29, 2013. It's a New Year, It's a New Day. Well, it's not quite the new year yet, but it will be soon. Anyway, Sunday seems like a good day to start things on, or at least prepare. And I'm just raring to go for the new year, it seems. I just want to revel in newness and turn over several fresh new leaves. But I feel like one still sometimes. There is so much to do in this world- how will I ever do it all? Write letters. Back when I broke my hand, I swore that "when my hand heals, I'm...

Lady Holiday: Weekend Ramblings
http://ladyholiday.blogspot.com/2013/06/weekend-ramblings.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. The ticket booth is shot up with bullet holes and the concession stand is a haven for wasps, but the flag stand has been recreated and advertises the history of the place, as well as its affiliation with Pepsi. As we were walking through the woods, on what turned out not to be a trail (we were a little lost at that point! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm a factory girl. Everyone Loves an Asian Girl: 2008: Year of the firsts!!
http://asiankeng.blogspot.com/2008/01/2008-year-of-firsts.html
Everyone Loves an Asian Girl. Tuesday, January 08, 2008. 2008: Year of the firsts! Happy new year to all! As much as I've attempted to embrace odd numbers, and especially prime ones, I still have to say that whatever weird freakish part of my brain it is, feels comfort and ease in the nicely divisible 2008. Not to mention it's my year for 28, a perfect number. What haven't you done yet that you've 'always wanted to'? Now is the time! Spend a day in the National Arboretum. Visit the Baltimore Aquarium.

Everyone Loves an Asian Girl: Being Married, Part 1...
http://asiankeng.blogspot.com/2009/06/being-married-part-1.html
Everyone Loves an Asian Girl. Monday, June 15, 2009. Being Married, Part 1. Things that you never expect to happen in your life but now do because you are eternally joined with someone else, whose actions now directly affect you. Hearing "Thank you, Ms. Keng. Thank you, Mr. Keng" at the Safeway check-out line as we bought groceries last night; since I paid, my name came up on the bill. I giggled and pointed a finger at "Mr. Keng" all the way to the car. We couldn't find anything in there.". We had alread...

Everyone Loves an Asian Girl: Kitchen Gadget Regrets
http://asiankeng.blogspot.com/2012/03/kitchen-gadget-regrets.html
Everyone Loves an Asian Girl. Thursday, March 22, 2012. Today the NY Times posted a fabulous article about the. Kitchen tools you never needed. I mean, seriously. Who on earth buys an asparagus peeler. Or does one really need an automatic butter slicer. Who buys these stupid, useless, pointless, unnecessary items? However. as I applauded myself for not owning pretty much anything from Williams and Sonoma. I was going to make panini sandwiches, AND griddle pancakes, AND grill chicken safely and humanely w...
