Preheat the roaster to about 220 degrees Celsius and allow the temperature to stabilise – usually about 10 mins or so from cold. Reduce the power to about 4 amps (low-medium power) and charge the coffee. Watch the bean mass temperature and allow to stabilise – when it starts to level off, raise the power level.
