The sand fills the spaces between your toes with every step, damp in the night though the tide is far out. The distant waves crash in your ears, softly. The sea breeze is cool. But the sand is still warm from a day’s worth of sunshine, so you aren’t too cold. It’s the moment meditation tapes tell you to take yourself to. It should be perfect.
