Cool Websites and Other Stuff. So why the name Numa? Our name "Numa," comes from the Greek word. Which means wind, breath, spirit, or Holy Spirit. That's a lot of meaning for a small word, but there is a lot of depth to it. Greek words often had more than one definition in order to present an idea or a feeling with just a single word. With that in mind, we picked Numa as the name of our youth group because it embodies the different aspects and ideas we want to represent as a youth group.

Cool Websites and Other Stuff. Idaville UB church is located about halfway between Carlisle and Gettysburg on Highway 34. On Wednesday nights the youth meet for a Bible study at 7 PM. We meet in the youth room just off the gym. On Sundays we meet in the gym, usually starting around 6:00 for games and hang out time. There is something for everybody, from basketball to board games. This ministry can be very fluid based on when the students and young adults are available. Impromptu gatherings are not uncommon as plans are made fairly quickly. Ascend meets each Sunday morning for a time of study at Pastor Stuart and Judy's home (the parsonage beside the church) at 9:45 am. Be sure to check the calendar.

Idaville UB Church youth group exists to reach out to the young people of the greater Idaville area and to encourage youth to pursue a relationship with Christ. Cool Websites and Other Stuff. After a time of fun and fellowship on Sunday evenings, we have been learning about the myths and misconceptions of reasons why individuals give for not being a Christian. We learned about "Why Christianity Doesn't Work" on January 26, 2014. We will continue with lesson two ("God Does Not Care") on February 16, 2014.
