Tuesday, 25 November 2008. Has it been a year since i posted anything on here? A lot has happened in the land of aquariums since then. i've decided to get back into writing about the fishtanks and their various inhabitants. at the moment i have all the fish in the 180 litre tank at home. the 70 litre tank has been set up behind my desk at work and is currently cycling, more about that one at a later date :-). So, without over doing it, thats enough for my first post in ages. :-). Not a random fish picture.

Not had time to do much blogging on the fish tank activities, but thats not to say that there has not been much going on. quite the contrary! So here is a quick update on both fishtanks. :-). Not had time to do much blogging on the fish tank activities, but thats not to say that there has not been much going on. quite the contrary! So here is a quick update on both fishtanks. :-). The next day i get back from work and go and look at the tank and the rams had spawned on the wood on the left side (closest to the window! Get some updates done you lazy git - lol. Keep as group in loosely planted tanks, furniched with large-leaved plants and roots that protrude into the tank from above. Feed various frozan foods, mosquito larvae, and dry foods of high nutritive value. Peaceful group fish found in larger, usually clear bodies of water in Amazonia. "Stands" quietly among roots and plants. Pair-forming open spawner.

Saturday, June 7, 2008. Just a little update. The crayfish died about a moth ago. I guess it was it time becasue the water was always cleana nd there was plenty of food. The angelfish are doign fine and we just introduce a small plecostomus. In the big acuarium the plecostomus died so it was replaced. It is summer here and is getting very hot. we have AC btu even though the water is about 78 in the day. I guess I can put some ice cubes sometimes uh? Patrice from www.aquariumslife.com.
