ACEA - European Automobile Manufacturers Association, in February 28 of 2008, introduced new performance levels, which replaced the rules of 2004. The new ones came to deepen the technical and environment demands for the lubricants used in motors with exhaustion system with DPF, TWC and SCR type. These rules, based in specific norms, define the lubricants classification, according to the trucks and automobiles builders, to ensure the guaranty of the motors when they were working.
