Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Our Piper is 5 months old! I can’t believe how fast she is growing up. She is still working on rolling over, but she’s also starting to sit up better. If I try to prop her up on the Boppy, she tries to pull herself up to a sitting position. She really works those abs! We just love this little sweetheart and can’t wait to see her grow up. I never knew people were so passionate about other people's junk, but hey, we made some money and got rid of everything, so it worked out! Sunday, May 1, 2011. Well, we officially have a 2-year-old! We combined his birthday with the Easter festivities and it was so fun. (Pictures below.) A family friend made Fischer’s cake and it was amazing! Fischer loved it and even blew out the candles all by himself! He had a blast and, of course, didn’t get any presents. 8221; Cracks me up. 8221; Yes, Fischer, you did have a surprise for me in that diaper. Not my kind of surprise though. He really is at a fun age. Temper tantrums and all.

Thursday, March 10, 2011. I switched majors and that is what I have my degree in. Somewhere in there I came to the full realization that I did, in fact, want to be a stay-at-home wife and mother. Friday, August 6, 2010. I can't believe it's August already. August means the end of summer, our 4th anniversary, "school" for Fischer, and 3 months until Piper arrives. Time is truly flying! Since we're not exactly sure when we'll be moving to Perryton, Matt and I have gone ahead and started on Piper's nursery. Matt painted (twice.oops) and just has to put up crown molding. I made Piper's sign since that may be the only decoration I get a chance to do. So much easier this time around! Hobbs, New Mexico.

Monday, May 2, 2011. Just a brain dump post. I was doing laundry today and you know what I noticed and what really bothered me? Why do they put actual back pockets on little kid pants? That material always just gets bunched up and wrinkely. Add that to the diaper and serious ghetto booty occurs. What are kids going to put back there anyways? Tuesday, May 17, 2011. I just feel like I spend so much time and energy cleaning. It’s wearing me out! I wouldn’t trade it for anything though, and I know that is just comes with the territory. Hopefully I can find a peace in the messiness and figure out a cleaning system that keeps me sane. I want my kids to enjoy their childhood and not worry about making Mom made when they make a mess. Friday, April 30, 2010. Well, Fischer's First Birthday has come and gone. It was a great time with grandparents and aunt and cousins. It started off on Friday with a little surprise for the grandparents. Fischer was wearing this shirt when the grandparents got there on Friday. That's right! We're going to have another baby! The doctor said everything looked great and I was able to see and hear the heart beating. But now, back to the party. Fischer got this chair from his Nonnie and Nujers and he LOVES it!
