Featured Graduate Student Project. Nuclear GeoSciences and GeoEngineering (NuGeo) is an inter-departmental campus wide research group with faculty and students from the Chemistry and Geochemistry, Environmental Science and Engineering, Geology and Geological Engineering, and Mining Engineering departments on campus housed under the Nuclear Science and Engineering Center. NuGeo is focused on the either end of the nuclear fuel cycle (see figure below) - exploration, extraction, and remediation.
