Nut Cave Trout Farm. Directions to the Farm. Granny Fishes ' House Resturant. Started by Thomas Edison and Robbie Lou "Granny Fish" Sells,. Nut Cave Trout Farm opened for business in August of 1964. The trout farm is now operated by one of their grandsons, Jason Sells and his wife Brittney. The cave is our source of all of the water used on the farm. About 1,650 gallons of water flow out of the cave per minute. One of our most asked questions is, What do you do with all the guts from the cleaned fish?
