Precious Worker: Diva Challenge #229 Negative space

http://preciousworker.blogspot.com/2015/08/diva-challenge-229-negative-space.html

Tuesday, 4 August 2015. Diva Challenge #229 Negative space. Being one to usually crowd a tile with work, this week's challenge is a good one for me. I didn't begin with a string but thought I'd just let it "grow". Tangles: Henna Drum, Mist, Umble, Mooka, Pais. I could't leave it at that though, I wanted to add colour, so I erased the shading then had fun with markers, but keeping things subdued. A recent contribution to "Aussie zentangles " on Facebook.a monotangle of Onamato. 4 August 2015 at 23:48.

Precious Worker: August 2014

http://preciousworker.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 19 August 2014. Diva Challenge #181 and arty stuff. Water" is our challenge for this week. I checked out all the tangle patterns I had to hand, and decide to select 4 of them for my design. I made a watercolour wash background first- seemed fitting, then used microns, then coloured pencil. I was happy with the result. I was going to do two, but this one took a while so I left it at that! Let me know what you think about the landscape paintings. Links to this post. Wednesday, 13 August 2014.

Tuesday, 28 April 2015. Diva Challenge #215 Labyrinth, Dylusion ink sprays. Some labyrinth are round, some square in shape. I chose to do a simple square one. Tangles: Paisley Boa and Lamar. I have recently purchased some Dylusion Ink Sprays, having been inspired by the work of Alice Hendon on her blog "Creators Leaf". I have a lot to learn in their use, but here are a few results which I have attempted to tangle, particularly for the Facebook group "Stacked and Tangled". Links to this post. Last week I ...

Precious Worker: January 2015

http://preciousworker.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 27 January 2015. This week we have a Duo tangle, two tangles to work with. One is Chabucto, the other Copada. I use the latter quite frequently, but not the first one. In fact I found Chabucto quite difficult to get my head around, but did my old age best! These were designed by one of my fave tanglers, Margaret Bremner, her work is awesome. You can see it on her blog at Enthusiasticartis. Ive been enjoying some lovely sunsets recently. Links to this post. Tuesday, 20 January 2015. MORE FROM NEW...

Precious Worker: August 2015

http://preciousworker.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, 20 August 2015. Diva Challenge . Revisiting Camelia. Asked this week to work on new or old patterns with S or C curves, and have some fun developing them with auras galore. So I thought I'd have some fun with my pattern "Camelia" (step outs included) I called these "Cameliarella". I found this challenge quite addictive and wanted to try all sorts of things as you will see below. My first exercise was on some bookmark cards I had over from a recent swap. I just let things develop as they will.

Precious Worker: Diva Challenge #226 "Simplicity"

http://preciousworker.blogspot.com/2015/07/diva-challenge-228-simplicity.html

Wednesday, 15 July 2015. Diva Challenge #226 "Simplicity". I've been away for a few days in the city of Melbourne and it has been cold and wet. When I left today it was 8 degrees centigrade! But I have been keeping up with my tangles, and have a few to share tonight now I am back on my laptop. This weeks' challenge to use two or three tangles and white space was an enjoyable task, and I liked the result, particularly as I'm prone to fill a tile every time! 15 July 2015 at 07:53. I love the colorful Euca.
