Welcome to my ramblings on life in a nutty household. Sunday, December 31, 2006. We watched the Spengler Cup on TV today. The Swiss team was playing the Canadian team, and Pat Quinn (ex Maple Leaf head coach) was there. This was significant because I am Swiss (and Canadian) and much of my maternal side of the family still resides in Switzerland. My uncle happens to love playing and watching hockey. My uncle was probably very ecstatic. My hubby less so. We'll try again next time, maybe inside an arena.

Welcome to my ramblings on life in a nutty household. Saturday, September 29, 2007. I got a dishwasher. It's still in its box, and sitting in the middle of my livingroom floor, but. I got a dishwasher! There is framing going on in the basement today. The plumber is coming to fix the sink in the kitchen, attach the dishwasher, and finalize all the plumbing on Wed/Thurs this week. The mason is here doing the steps and he's assured us they will be done BY THE TIME THE BABY COMES IN TWO WEEKS. OhI could go on.

Our newborn daughter Sonja B has joined our family, our toddler will be moving into the preschool CASA program at his Montessori daycare in January, hubby has settled into his new job, we have steps we can actually use at our front door, and the drywalling will beging in our basement in mid November.
