When tragedies happen, people always say “nothing can prepare you for this”. I don’t think they mean the actual tragic occurance however. After all, there are fire drills, and earthquake drills, and books and courses on emergency preparedness. So really, there doesn’t seem to be a lack of. Photos by Paul and Mecheal Johnson. Drew, 11 years old, 5th Grade. McKenna, 8 years old, 2nd Grade. Aidan, 9 years old, 4th Grade. Wow, hard to believe its been 12 years since we met! We were married the following May and moved to Prosper, TX, which is about 45 minutes North of Dallas. Drew was born on Sept. 5,2001, Aidan on February 11, 2003 and then McKenna on November 17, 2004. We adopted our Great Dane, Callista, and then this last Christmas we adopted two black kittens, Lucy and Peanut!
