Both the carers and placing social worker felt that the concurrency placement offered Samuel a good match. He was placed when he was four weeks old ; directly on his discharge from hospital. His birth parents have accepted the carers as Samuel’s parents and support him remaining in their care on a permanent basis.

You will be allocated a social worker within the team who will offer support and supervision on an individual basis throughout the duration of the placement. We offer an emergency out of hours phone line for our carers which is held by one of the team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Carer Led Support Group.
