Diary of a Northwest Gardener. Evening glow in the greenhouse. WELCOME TO MY BLOG! I am glad you found me because I hope I can be helpful or at least interesting for you to follow, be you a gardener yourself or just watching vicariously. Not So Certified, But Organic. Substitute "Sara" for "Amy" and my story is much the same.

Post your question as a comment. Alpine flowers at Grey Rock. Saturday, May 28, 2011. The Water Lilies have opened and closed about 4 times today. They slowly unfold when the sun is out and close up tight when the clouds come back in and at night. If I had a time release camera set up, I could offer a great video.

We love to Grow! My Dwarf Pomegranate ‘Nana’ arrived. My dwarf pomegranate arrived last week. It’s about 6 inches tall, very cute! Mom’s new plants | Willow Jade

https://willowjade.wordpress.com/2011/04/15/moms-new-plants

We love to Grow! Mom’s new plants. Mom got some new plants last week. Big repotting sessions after getting them home. We have a plant supplies and tools basket. Most of them were rescues. Mom’s Haworthia was overloaded with babies and needed dividing. The Sago Palm in back is a previous rescue plant. Mom's too. This pot-full is a rescue too, since divided and repotted. They look nice in their new blue pot. Willow supervised the work from her recliner. This entry was posted on April 15, 2011 by Laurie.

Garden Pests – They Happen To The Best Of Us. May 8, 2011. I tried to deny it. I pretended they weren’t there and just went back inside. I tried to rationalize it. That can’t be what I think it is. No, nope, not a chance. I tried to hide it. I pruned the worst-off blooms and threw them away. Now that I’m in aphid recovery mode, the sleuth in me is coming out. The same thing has been running through my head all afternoon:. How on earth did they get there in the first place? From → Pests. April 24, 2011.
