After the service we were fed "tacos on a stick" which was really a very large slab of stacked pork being roasted in front of us Greek style. Friday, August 10, 2007. Day Six: A Grateful Traveler. I consider myself a seasoned traveler, but as a first time mission traveler, the experience surely exceeded my expectations. I have felt stretched in many ways (the least of which was my back from carrying cement blocks) and have thoroughly enjoyed getting much deeper into the local culture than possible in any of my previous tourist travels.
