Monday, April 26, 2010. Javalang too large after all. The 'GoTo' Software has almost been written. Using Best First Search the fastest route between 2 points is calculated returning a list of waypoints. So it's just a matter of walking through the list of waypoints. Only 4 weeks until the exams. I don't know if I need to make a poster or presentation, so I'll probably contact my examinator this week for more information. Distance between 2 intersections. Adjust its position from time to time.

Friday, April 2, 2010. After too much work, having too little done, the menu is finished. - -. Apparently Date.toString doesn't work, properties.store doesn't work properly on files either, you actually have to create a file, . - -. From tomorrow I can get back to debugging what was still wrong with the depth first algorithm. We now know how to indicate the endpoint, so knowing that and using the dfs it will not be difficult to check the entire map. Don't even hit the wall at all and stop beforehand xp.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. I'm a student at the university of Antwerp and I'm in my last (3th) bachelor year. My thesis will be revolving the NXT Mindstorms 2.0 series. I have to make the robot go through a maze as fast as possible. Knowing only the entrance(s), exit(s) and borders of the maze. Will be used to program the functionality. Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Apparently the Motor class is still buggy, but with only a few weeks left I have to hax the robot so it just works and maybe not in the most correct way. Anyway, after reading through the lejos forum I came across the same problems I had, offering me a corresponding solution. The problem where the robot just keeps turning right or left has been fixed by instead rotating over Integer.Max Value, which simulates 'rotating forever', but now at least we can stop the robot.
