Saturday, 3 March 2012. A few DJs and bands asked me to do them covers for their promotional CDs. Here are a few examples from over the years. The first, from 2004, is a great tech-house DJ who goes by the name Richy Vallenz. I paid homage to the inspiration for his name, the late Ritchie Valens, in this light-hearted CD design. Sunday, 29 November 2009. Here is the first flyer design I produced for The Silver Card, one of my first commissions. When the flyer was needing updated, we kept the front much the same as it had been and just improved the reverse. I also produced some wallpapers for the computers in an internet cafe. Here is advert for an a speed dating event run by the Silver Card. In the end this wasn't used as it was decided it was a bit risqué, but I still like it. Links to this post. I was asked to design the branding and packaging of their products. The first thing I did was a logo. The image of the brand is fresh and fun, with a modern twist on traditional products.
