Sunday, March 15, 2009. Originally uploaded by JandN93. Catman's Log" Find #84 found on 03/07/09. Ah, a regular size cache to look for. A nice change for the day of micros! Anyway, just off the Allegany River Trail in Olean, this was a quick find. N spotted just as they were walking off the trail on a well worn path. Since it was such a wet day, we didn't do any swag trading, we just signed the log and moved on. BUT, this find really made us want to get back out in the woods geocaching!

This had to be the fastest cache and dash we ever did since it was located at a very busy intersection. J found while searching the crosswalk area. He said N would have had a very tough time seeing it stuck in behind the box on the pole. Well, we just sat at the little area, signed the log and J put the magnetic cache back. On to the next one! While down visiting J's parents, we decided to find this cache to drop the Koala we picked up at ASP. We even got Mom and Dad to go with us again! The path was neat and we enjoyed looking for this cache. Of course the guys went through the woods and we girls took the path! Hopefully no one ends up with Poison Ivy! Monday, December 29, 2008. Well, I have finally got all the blogging caught up. Now if I could just get the scrapbooking caught up! It may be awhile before we geocache again as winter has set in and the two of us have different days off throughout the winter. We will be trying to get in a cache or two, but they will be few and far between. In the mean time, we hope to be planning a va-cache-tion for next year. This was a tough micro and we were feeling just a little rusty.N thinks her height made the discovery a little harder than it was for J as she spent most of her search time in the general area. We were about to give up when J was standing in the right place and was able to see the different looking bolt. Sure enough, the strange looking bolt was the cache! Only a log here!

Sunday, March 8, 2009. It's been way too long. It has been a LONG cold winter. Even with the rain (and the ever present threat of flooding into our basement) we are glad to see the signs of Spring. With J almost done with his Winter schedule, we are both ready to get back into the woods and searching for geocaches! We must admit, 2009 has not started out the best for us.
