Welcome to the hottest page so far. Fire can be your friend, or your worst nightmare, as you can see from this series of pictures I snapped in December of 1985. I was driving south on the New England Thruway near Country Club Road when a plume of smoke bellowed up in front of me. A chain reaction accident had just ocurred, and I stopped to snap the pandemonium that ensued. Note the neat old 1984 HWY 1 RMP unit with the words DWI TASK FORCE.

Above are 2 pics I took around 1992. These were snapped under the Brooklyn Promonade, and on this particular day road construction had the highway at a dead stop- no surprise there, so i got out and snapped these neat pics.
The Pulaski Skyway

Because of the recent collapse of the I 35 bridge in MN, the engineers are rushing around to recheck some of the local bridges deemed unsafe. The Pulaski Skyway has a poor rating, so I wanted to rush publication of this page to help educate the public. Most of these pictures were taken in August 2007 while the video was made in October 2007. Above, you are looking toward Kearney and Newark. You can clearly see there are no breakdown lanes and also note the accumulated debris on the side of the road.

The Hutchinson River Parkway. The problem basically is that truckers exiting the Whitestone Bridge often wander onto the Northbound Hutch instead of 95 North or South.About 3 miles north on the Hutch is the foreboding Westchester Avenue Bridge,seen below. EXIT 100 FEET LOW BRIDGE AHEAD! Can you believe that truckers are ignoring that new million dollar sensor? The video below will explain the accident above.
