NYC With Dylan

Friday, September 7, 2012. Diving into the primary literature and more How I Met Your Mother. Week one has come and gone with very little to report. The last few weeks have been slowly building pace, but I expect the build up to last a few more weeks before things gain full semester momentum. Last week my girlfriend and I met up with our friends for a second round of trivia, this time for How I Met Your Mother. Which I mentioned in my previous post. This trivia was held at McGee's Pub. Oh, and my HIMYM.

NYC With Dylan: August 2012

http://nycwithdylan.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 27, 2012. I survived my first week- which was orientation. This was a basic test of my ability to wake up and get down to the Graduate Center in a timely fashion. The CUNY Graduate Center on Fifth Ave. On Tuesday of "Orientation Week", I had my first session when I met with all of the incoming biology Ph.D. students. In a group of 28, a lot of the students were in the Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCD). I didn't particularly care at the start what I did, I just wanted the ...

NYC With Dylan: Slowly discovering New York City & preparing for student orientation

http://nycwithdylan.blogspot.com/2012/08/slowly-discovering-new-york-city.html

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Slowly discovering New York City and preparing for student orientation. Second Ave (.I think). One of my favorite. Things about cities on a grid is being able to see. Straight shots down the city streets. Very slowly, I'm starting to come out of my shell and explore New York City. Last weekend my girlfriend and I went out with our friends from Clark University. I'm not a big drinker even though I've brought up cheap alcohol twice. In this short paragraph.). Because NPH is in the ...

NYC With Dylan

http://nycwithdylan.blogspot.com/2012/06/this-is-my-first-post-to-announce.html

Tuesday, June 26, 2012. This is my first "post" to "announce" the following:. I moved my Clark University blog to: http:/ biowithdylanatclark.blogspot.com/. With this move, biowithdylan.blogspot.com will remain my blogging platform, from which I'll blog about being a first year Ph.D. biology student. I'm taking the summer off and hope to get the blog off and running by mid-to-late August. I noticed my pageviews hit zero on my Clark blog since moving the URL, so, I thought I'd post this.

Bio With Dylan: I'm shaking up my blogs, once again!

http://biowithdylan.blogspot.com/2012/09/post-one.html

Saturday, September 15, 2012. I'm shaking up my blogs, once again! I've decided to change my blogs up once again, hopefully for the last time. This blog, Bio With Dylan, will be my science. Blog, where I only. Talk science. I have a few essays in various draft forms which I'm excited to post, and I hope this will be a cool way for me to practice my science writing. It would be great if I could post two essays a month, but I know I'm getting ahead of myself. That blog has by far the most content.

NYC with Jeff

An exploration of NYC for you by Jeff Plunkett. Sunday, January 28, 2018. Such a lot of wonder. All around. 4WTC. For me, Paris is the prettiest city. That may not be the most enthralling adjective; one could say it about a lollipop. And Paris is a bit of a lollipop, and gooey marzipan, dripping with delight, grand but delicate somehow, ou. Comme les palais près du Pont Alexandre III. And ringing with harmony. Why do I go on like this? I was, as usual anymore, with a group. The first building to be c...
