CLICK HERE FOR BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Friday, April 24, 2009. Turtle Edited: Complete cutout with quick selection tool and refined edges. Turtle Unedited: 07-12-2008; Albania; Sony. Making cutouts in Photoshop wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Using the quick selection tool allows you to cutout the image rather nicely. I found that it is important to be careful and precise on the detailed edges. Using the refine edge tool makes a world of difference on the image. Thursday, April 23, 2009.

For this project we were to take a picture every day of the week, then add them to a template using adjustment layers and blending masks to create a compilation of a week in our lives. I have to say I had my doubts about how well it would work with my pictures, but it turned out really well. After I did it, I had to flatten the image in order to eliminate the cracks.
