Robert Model owns Mooncrest Ranch. He purchased the initial property in 1976, and now there are 5,250 deeded acres, surrounded by Rattlesnake Mountain to the East, Trout Peak Mountain to the Northwest, and Logan Mountain to the Southwest, and Jim Mountain to the West. It is an active cattle ranch, specializing in Black Angus.
