Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Memorial Day Weekend I did my first Half Marathon! I was very excited to actually do it and finish the race. Before this I had only done 5k's and 10k's. It was in Ojai and was called the Mountains to Beach 1/2 marathon. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Last week I had an interview at Los Angeles Mission College for a part-time adjunct position teaching English. I found out that I got the job and am very excited - this was something I added to my 30 before 30 list more as a wish than as something I really thought would be accomplished. I am very, very thrilled to be crossing it off the list! Bolt bus, once again. Justin Bieber papers given out on our way to the bus. First up, Sam Adams Brewery. The best pastries ever.

Monday, May 28, 2012. Vegas, Baby (Again). I think that this is going to be the longest post ever - but it's all pictures :). Lindy, her friend Linda and I decided to head to Vegas to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend and our graduations. We got in on Friday night, super late, and didn't head out to the clubs until midnight. It took us 8 hours to drive from L.A. to Vegas. Lindy getting her groove on. At a table - Linda, Lindy and me. Then Lindy got the urge to dance up with the guy in a fur coat and hat.

Monday, March 5, 2012. Santa Barbara County Wine Tasting. Last weekend I went hiking and this weekend I decided to do something fun again. I talked Lindy into wine tasting with me in Santa Barbara. She was excited because she had never been before and I hadn't been in a few years, so we headed to S.B. Saturday morning. First stop: Foley winery. The wine we were sampling here was called: Two Sisters haha. At Melville which was really close to Foley. Babcock Winery which shares a driveway with Melville.

Monday, March 10, 2014. I had about two weeks off after my Winter class ended before Olivia was born and I spent that time taking care of Kevin (he had shoulder surgery), watching the Winter Olympics, and setting up the baby's room. Our friends Bert and Sung had given us this monkey stuffed animal at the baby shower and we used it to practice out our new baby stuff. Baby Monitor with baby monkey. Car seat with monkey. Carrie and Justin gave us the bedding for Olivia's bed - super cute - thanks guys!
