Saturday, August 8, 2015. Mitzel Coal Trestle ready to take deliveries. After my last post I continued working on the Mitzel Coal trestle deck and I installed it after shaving down and painting the foam. I also sprinkled a little bit of black sanded grout around it. The picture below shows the finished trestle. Does it look convincing? August 11, 2015 at 11:41 AM. August 18, 2015 at 12:55 AM. Thanks for the feedback, its always appreciated. :). Not too many really "horrible" issues need to be addressed to allow the RR to run smoothly and as planned, and they can be fixed relatively quickly and cheaply, or so I think! Here's what I have effectionately...

Since I've been actually pre-occupied with working on the layout to post, I thought I'd take a moment before mt favorite show (The Walking Dead) starts, and share some shots taken from this weekend's shakedown session. Only two more to go before I host a very special op session at the end of April! It WAS St, Patty's Eve, after all!
