Back to nym.ac. Not sure if it's right for commercial advertisements on this notice board but I've just been told of some bargains at Pete Bland Sports so until the notice board is well used I can't see any harm. So here's the website:. Http:/ www.peteblandsports.co.uk/trolleyed/index.htm. Posted by Mick Garratt @ Saturday, May 29, 2004.

Back to nym.ac. What is it with these new fangled 100% polyflopadropadene vests, why can't we go back to the good old days when men where men, and vests were hand knit from old bits of wool picked from rusty barbed wire in some remote corner of the moors.Good running Bri Nylon. Back to nym.ac. Tuesday night training ideas. Approx 80% of us who trained last Tuesday did the quality bit (Roseberry Topping - up the nose of Little Roseberry to the gate) and plenty of ideas were generated in the pub afterwards (mainly from Mark E) for more training runs/ Q bits. See www.nym.ac/training/nymac summer training.htm). More ideas are still needed - everyone has their favourite training run - why not share it with the rest of the club? nym.ac: Good Trail shoe
http://nymac.blogspot.com/2004/06/good-trail-shoe.html
Back to nym.ac. Hi all, I thought this was worth sharing:. If, like me, you can't get away with wearing fell shoes for any reason ( I get really awful blisters if running in them for any length of time ), I recommend Saucony Xterra Grid, I think that's their correct name! They really do offer good grip with the added bonus of being supremely comfortable and light. An ideal shoe for summer fell/trail running, although I don't know how well they would cope in the winter after a particularly wet spell!

nym.ac: Alternative Training - June 8th
http://nymac.blogspot.com/2004/06/alternative-training-june-8th.html
Back to nym.ac. Alternative Training - June 8th. As an alternative to this Tuesday's training there is orienteering at Silton Forest. Full details are on the CLOK web site at http:/ www.clok.org.uk/Events2004/040608 Silton.htm. Silton Forest is on the western edge of the North York Moors, a few miles south of the Cleveland Tontine. There will be three technical courses for experienced orienteers, plus two courses planned specially for runners with not much navigation experience. Comments: Post a Comment.

Chris Wright: March 2009
http://chriswright-cjw.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 18, 2009. Some thoughts from over here. Perhaps the days of the Colour Coded/District event as an 'all things to all men' are numbered. Having more local events, with a smaller target audience (perhaps even a niche market), might be the way forward, and could provide the progression (particularly for juniors) that we currently try and offer within one event type - the standard white-to-brown CC/District event. Certain organisational headaches such as parking would certainly be eased!

Chris Wright: February 2010
http://chriswright-cjw.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 07, 2010. Those were the days. Whilst doing some sorting out at home, I came across some of my old training diaries. The spring of 1983 appears to have been the time for some serious mileage, with 3 weeks at 70 miles . One week I appear to have been determined to break the 80 mile barrier. I was staying in Newcastle on study leave from work, so was able to get out twice a day (just to clear the mind, of course! This is how the week 21 to 27 March 1983 went:. 131 miles warm up - 14. What ...

http://chriswright-cjw.blogspot.com/2011/02/there-must-be-something-with-my.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. There must be something wrong with my orienteering technique because. There was lots of comments, nay critiscm, of the map used for the recent CompassSport Cup round at Silton, but all of my controls appeared where I expected them to be! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I have been orienteering and running for 40 years - can't decide if I'm an orienteer who runs or a runner who orienteers. I'm now 53 and still doing both regularly! View my complete profile.

Chris Wright: January 2012
http://chriswright-cjw.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 28, 2012. And now for something completely different. Ever since I saw Michael Palin visit the group Kodo in Japan. As part of his Full Circle trip, I have had an interest in Japanaese Taiko Drumming. Over the years, I have seen several groups in concert, in particlar the UK based Mugenkyo, who I have seen probably once a year for nearly 10 years. So in 2010, I actually went on 3 weekends, and thoroughly enjoyed myself! At the Black Swan Folk Festival (as pictured). In order to get to t...
