Monday, April 12, 2010. A Child's First Prayer. Tonight during our family prayer something happened for the first time. G. asked us to close our eyes. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. JP and I took a little trip to LA and San Francisco for our 14th Anniversary. It was great to be alone, together for a couple of days. Of course, we planned our trip around food, family and sleep! We also went to a live taping of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in Hollywood. HILARIOUS! Schooner or Later in Long Beach for Breakfast. As seen on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives). We got to cruise the Bay Area freeways in this bad boy. I swear it felt like the BatMobile!

Sunday, October 2, 2011. 2nd Day of Preschool. G did not want to go to preschool. She cried the whole ride there saying she "didn't like preschool". B. didn't make it any easier for G. because she was laughing, and taunting saying "it's my preschool". But don't worried G. frown only lasted for two weeks. Monday, October 24, 2011. I HAD to go back to San Francisco to visit my new nephew, Miles. He was born the day Mackenzie and I left San Fran last month. So, back I went, this time without my own kids! I got to hang out with Cara and Jeff and their beautiful kids, Sienna, Dylan and newborn Miles. We hit the Yogurt Shack (a MUST when you visit them), Farmers Market, and a Halloween Carnival. I even got to babysit so Cara and Jeff could have a night out ALONE! Thanks for coming Delynn.it was SO MUCH FUN!

Sunday, March 28, 2010. What would you do? Every morning every day I make the same breakfast (except on weekends) for G. scrambled eggs, mangoes, yogurt w/flaxseed, cheerios, milk, and water. One morning I forgot to give her yogurt and cheerios. before she would begin to eat she insisted I also give her yogurt and cheerios. What am I teaching her? Friday, April 2, 2010. The Spirit of Easter. The other day G. and I were in the garden section of a store. On the end isles they had displays of garden statues with assorted plants. As we walked passed them G. jumped up with excitement and said "JESUS! I LOVE YOU JESUS! That is one of the sweetest things Ive read in a long time. And youre doing a great job as a mom. She has Jesus in her mind, what a compliment to your teaching. So glad you called yesterday, call again if you need to talk.

Thursday, April 26, 2012. Where did March and April go? Here is what we have been up to since my last post. 1 Elementary School Play, Aladdin. I was the Assistant Director. Jacob was the Cave of Wonders. Kelsey and Kayley were Jafars Assistants. We had a blast.I must have enjoyed it A LOT, because I signed on to direct next year.my play of choice, ALICE IN WONDERLAND. 2 Quick day trip to Mom and Dad's during Spring Break. ATV Riding, Fire Pit, Crystal Hot Springs with Awesome Friends.
