En personlig blog der beskriver livet med et barn, der har nystagmus. Torsdag den 6. marts 2014. Johanna har været til undersøgelse på OUH hos Roy. Hun skulle dryppes af to omgange, og det var ikke så sjovt. Det sved lidt, og hun havde svært ved at fokusere efterfølgende. Her kan man købe øjenplastre i forskellige farver med en masse forskellige klistermærker til. Det gør det unægteligt nemmere at overtale en fireårig til at bruge klap! Abonner på: Indlæg (Atom). Fra nu af tager vi hende til synskontrol hver 6. måned, og så kan hun få den synsnerveundersøgelse, når hun er gammel nok til at vide, hvad der foregår. Vi begyndte at indstille os på, at Johanna fra en meget ung alder ville skulle bære briller. På YouTube fandt jeg videoer af babyer helt ned til 8 mdr med briller; sådan nogle der nærmest var fastspændt på hovedet. Jeg prøvede at lade være med at vise min mand, hvor ked af det, det gjorde mig, men det var svært. Det hele var så overvældende og føltes stærkt urimeligt. Øjenafdeling J i Århus.

Johannas nystagmus blev opdaget af en af mødrene i min mødregruppe, som er læge. Da var Johanna ca. 4 mdr. Det undrer mig meget, at vi ikke selv opdagede, at hendes øjne sitrede, men jeg tror, vi havde vænnet os til det på en eller anden uforklarlig måde. Abonner på: Kommentarer til indlægget (Atom).
