Travelling in USA and Canada 2010. Sunday, August 1, 2010. The alarm going off this morning at 5.45 was not a welcoming sound, but a necessary evil. We needed to be up, dressed and had breakfast ready to be picked up by the shuttle at 7.50 to go to the airport to catch our 10.00 am flight to San Francisco. We arrived at the airport at about 7.10 and started the check in process. They have a self check in kiosks, which if you are not fast enough will time you out and you have to start all over again.

Finding the building wasn’t a problem, but finding the rental car company was. It was on the 5. Floor of the parking garage, but the lift didn’t go up that far.
