This European trip I decided that I was going to travel light, not have any checked luggage and really cut back on the number of things I carried with me. This totally fits into my decluttering and simplifying quest so I was excited for the challenge. So why did I have to dump stuff at my mom's, you ask? Not to mention that I found good licorice in Iceland, so that had to be added to the mix too!

We have been working on creating ectropy out of entropy. Today I worked on my filing system. Over the years I have had many different styles of filing systems, a lot of them being characterized by "To file later" and "To do: URGENT! Feels good to get it done! Friday, September 17, 2010. This week seemed really long. It wasn't just me, the kids keep saying they are tired too. Next week I have 'Fall Break' scheduled on Thursday and Friday. It can't get here soon enough. Ok, what have we done. Let's shorten this. The kids worked on in their LA, Reading and Math books and it's all good. We read about Leif the Lucky and Vinland from several sources and made Viking shields. We filtered it and low and behold the sand came out, but where's the salt? Week #4 in Review.

Friday, June 17, 2011. Round Up Of The Week. A fun but busy week. If I thought things would be slower post Bible school I was wrong. L did basket weaving, hemp jewelry and crochet classes. She also took a placement test to see if pre-algebra is where she needs to be next year. She also filled up her library summer reading sheet. She also worked concessions at the ball park. Miss Mel-she did bowling with F-man along with dance. Math, LA and reading happened and baseball of course. Should an eagle solo?

No idea how special that is, but it made me all nostalgic. Happy to share my blue moon musings. After I reread that one I realized that the title 'blue moon' was significant in more than one way.
