The hats come in six sizes and Ive measured them by the head circumference rather than age since many kids dont grow at the same speed. The small hats were fitted for babies that were about a month old and weighed 7 or 8 pounds. Anna wears a large size and weighs about 40 pounds. Small: Fits heads size 15-17 inches. Medium: Fits head size 16-18 inches. Large: Fits head size 17-21 inches. Youth: Fits head sizes 21-23 inches. Adult: Fits head sizes 22-24 inches. White (Decorate Your Own).

Ive been making hats for almost two years now and I find my favorite part of it is giving hats away. I love knowing each hat is making one life with oxygen easier. But Ive also found I cant do it alone. . This got me thinking about all the families who have been where ours has been: dealing with oxygen, cursing the stickers, wishing for another option, but in a tight financial place and cant aford to purchase a hat. We cant afford to send them hats alone, but together we can make a difference.

How O2 Kid Lids Work. The hats should fit right over the top of the ear so the ribbons are at or just in front of the ear. The ribbons should be tied securely to hold the tubing in place. The back of the hats are open for ventilation so they dont get hot, even with a fever. They are also adjustable to grow with your child. If your child is a boy or you dont like the ribbons, they tuck under the hat nicely so they wouldnt be in view.

An Alternative For Holding Oxygen Tubing. The O2 Kid Lids were born of frustration for our daughter who needed oxygen therapy at night. We didnt want to put the stickers on her face since she didnt need them during the day but removing them each morning was too rough on her skin. Without the stickers, the oxygen tubing wouldnt remain in place and often ended up around her neck during the night.
