Thursday, June 19, 2008. Last Saturday I partook in what was a pretty fun and exciting event. It was called Urban Dare. Their web site bills it as "The adventure race that's part photo hunt, part trivia, and part dares." I was on a team with my good buddy Lisa, and also competing were Megan and Jason. Saturday, May 23, 2009. We went mountain biking yesterday for our first long ride of the summer. We perhaps bit off a little more than we could chew, walking our bikes up a couple of 45 degree slopes. The coolest part of the whole ride was seeing this guy in a tree. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Yesterday we went on a Christmas tree adventure. We drove way way up into the Uinta mountains, and Pumpkin was the champion! Here is the map I made using my GPS! Here is Carolyn draggin our new tree behind her:. Here is a picture of Pumpkin with two Christmas trees on top. Thursday, April 23, 2009. A pain in the rear. Following that appt I did about 2 months of Physical Therapy twice a week. While I actually had a pretty good time at PT, mostly because of the good natured people doing work there, I felt only marginally better, and that I had hit a plateau with them. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Well, it has been almost a week since I went in for the surgery on my back, and for the most part I am doing fairly well. Carolyn made a pretty extensive post about the surgery and the time at the hospital, since she can remember it a little better than I can due to the anesthesia. Glad you are better! Thursday, April 23, 2009. So I don't usually win a lot of stuff. I like to gamble, and sometimes do OK, but I never really win many prizes. WELL, do I have news for you. In the past few weeks I have won prizes at two different events at work. We will start with yesterday. Here are the spoils of my victory. Apparently they want to keep my well hydrated.
