Together with Arrochar MRT the Police MRT and an RAF MR team. The reporter who call in heard load shouts and screams on the buttress above him. An RAF group was dropped on the hill and escorted some embarrassed climbers off the hill. Everyone returned to base in time for a late Valentines dinner.

Oban Mountain Rescue Team. The team consists of 30 civilian volunteers who are first and foremost mountaineers. The team is under the control of and insured by the Police Service. It has charitable status and also receives some funding from the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland which is the governing body for all the Scottish Civilian Mountain Rescue Teams. It was formed in 2001 at the request of the Strathclyde Chief Constable who felt that cover in this area was poor. Rescue – Beinn Udlaidh.
