Wednesday, January 18, 2012. So we got a little bit of snow here in the Northwest. Shocking! It only happens about once or twice a year here but it's enough for us to want to throw on our rain boots (we are never prepared with snow gear) and go outside and play in the white stuff! This year we discovered the sledding hill at the end of our street. The whole neighborhood was out sledding! My kids were a little apprehensive about me sending them down the hill alone, but they survived a couple of trips!

Saturday, September 29, 2012. Welcome, Baby Logan! We are happy to announce that Logan Philip Swensen was born on Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 at 6:09 pm. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz and was 20 inches long. He is absolutely perfect and we are completely in LOVE with him! We are so happy he is here and feel so completely blessed to have him in our family! Family of six now! Macy has been the most excited about this baby! She wanted to be the 3rd person to hold him after me and then dad! Now that trips me out!

Sunday, September 14, 2014. My little tiny 7 lbs. 14 oz. first born baby is 9 years old now. How did that happen? Time is such a funny thing. I was reading this story of a holocaust survivor (Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning. Wow - look at that baby bump! I could barely get in and out of that thing. Jake, Kellie, Reesa, Jansen, Mitchell, and Corbin. Thursday, February 28, 2013. In California we have nice warm winters, with an occasional cold spell that usually doesn't last too long. For example. Here we are at Frosty's eating ice cream in sandals. The next day blowing bubbles outside on the back porch. Look how cute Mitchell is! He even popped a few. Then 2 days later, SNOW! Yep, lots of snow. Jake canceled work for the day and stayed home to build a snowman. Everyone helped to build something.
