Spins A Good Yarn. Spring Trees and A Quilted Pup. June 4th, 2008. This has been one of the most beautiful Springs that I can remember. The flowers have been lovely and long-lasting and the trees are just beautiful. I love the Spring with all the green everywhere. So much better that Winter’s constant favorite color of gray! Speaking of flowers: My daughter, Meagan. Is a quilt artist and she made me a beautiful, flowered book to keep my artist trading cards. Here’s the front. And here’s the back! And her...

I am just a gal who loves to knit and spin in my spare time and thought it would be nice to share my projects with everyone. Sunday, October 29, 2006. I have been working on some spinning inbetween numerous other projects. I finished my blue wool/mohair. It isn't as soft as I would like it for socks but I am sure I will find something nice to knit it into. I started some bright pink wool/mohair and it feels like it has a little bit of silk mixed in. It seems alot softer. Until next time, KNIT ON! I have ...

KrisKrafts: Gale's Art
http://kriskrafts.blogspot.com/2009/07/gales-art.html
Thursday, July 23, 2009. I hope everybody is having a great week. I'm at the end of my summer break. It's back to school/work for me on Monday. I still don't know what I'll be doing but until I hear otherwise I'm assuming I'll be in the library. I spun up 4 oz of Gale's Art merino roving in the proud peacock colorway. There is 385 yards of 2 ply here. I have another 4oz that I haven't spun yet. I think I will try and spin the next 4 oz thinner to get some socks out of them. Maybe. Cocoa Beach, Florida.

I had to put my silver belle to one side for now to work on these. I call this one the deranged tomato. This one I call the dripping mask. One of them has a little flap thingie. I'm not sure what to do with that. For those who are wondering, Rudy participated in the Disney marathon last weekend. Monday, January 05, 2009. A day of fishing. Rudy of course h...
