I don’t want to wish time away as this is such a wonderful time in our lives but I am also so excited to meet our daughter in Haiti. Its such a strange feeling and hard to explain to anyone who has not lived it. That’s all for now. We are chugging along on the paperwork!

However, its time to change the path and announce we are going back to China to adopt a girl from there. We are so excited and thrilled to be going back to the China program. HAITI HERE WE COME. June 13, 2014. Home Study Done, Documents off to be certified. Well, I cant believe how long it has been since I updated the blog. We have been waiting for our Home Study to be completed which took a lot longer than expected because of some additional clearances we needed from my parents (who we are still living with while we wait to close on the house). I am finally thrilled to say that the home study is complete! Hopefully my next blog post will be that our documents are on the way ...

HAITI HERE WE COME. July 16, 2015. ITS A GIRL ;). Two blog posts in a month and I don’t really have any news. Kind of semi-news! So yes we knew it would be a girl since we requested a girl-but still seeing it in writing was cool! I know people that have requested one gender and got the other. We would have been happy anyway but it is exciting to know that its a girl! I love having sisters and cant believe that Keira is going to get a sister!
